HEX (β-N-Acetylglucosaminidase) catalyzes the hydrolysis of terminal, non-reducing β-N-Acetylglucosamine residues from oligosaccharides.
HEX is purified from E.coli containing gene from Streptomyces plicatus.HEX has a molecular weight of ~55.2 kDa.Product Components- HEX : 200 ㎕ (5 units/㎕)- 10x Reaction Buffer : 500 mM sodium citrate, pH 6.0.Unit Definition- One unit will hydrolyze 1 μmole of p-nitrophenyl N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminide to p-nitrophenol and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine per min at pH 5.0 at 37°C.Storage Buffer- 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 50 mM NaCl, 1 mM EDTA, 50% glycerol.Specific Activity- 5 unit/㎕, 10 unit/㎍Storage Temperature- Store at -20℃.QC Tests- Activity, SDS-PAGE purity, performance tests.
