Bsu DNA Polymerase I is a DNA-dependent DNA polymerase lacks the 5´=>3´ and 3´=>5´ exonuclease activities. This polymerase has a strong strand displacement activity. Bsu DNA Polymerase I gene is obtained from Bacillus subtilis and the polymerase is purified from a recombinant E.coli strain.

Concentration & Storage Condition
- 5 unit/㎕. Store at -20℃.

Storage Buffer
- 50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 1 mM DTT, 0.1 mM EDTA, 50% (v/v) glycerol.

10x Reaction Buffer
- 100 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 500 mM NaCl, 100 mM MgCl₂, 10 mM DTT.

- One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to catalyze the incorporation of 10 nmol of dNTPs into acid insoluble material in 30 min at 37°C.
