Micrococcal Dual Nuclease is a non-specific endo/exonuclease that effectively digests both DNA and RNA substrates. The enzyme is active for double-stranded, single-stranded, circular and linear nucleic acids in the pH range of 7-10.

Micrococcal nuclease gene is obtained from Staphylococcus aureus and recombinant enzyme is expressed and purified from E.coli strain.

Concentration & Storage Condition
- 1 Kunit/㎕, Store at -20℃.

10x Reaction Buffer
- 500 mM Tris-HCl, pH7.9, 50 mM CaCl₂.

Storage Buffer
- 10 mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 50 mM KCl, 1 mM EDTA and 50% glycerol.

Unit Definition
- One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to digest 1 µg of genomic DNA in 15 minutes at 37°C.
