    Description

    SDS is a detergent that is known to denature proteins.

    It is used in polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis for the determination of protein molecular weight.
    And also used in nucleic acid extraction procedures for the disruption of cell walls and dissociation of nucleic acid/protein complexes

    Composition
    - Sodium dodecyl sulfate 10% (w/v) in distilled water

    Recommended Storage Condition
    - Store at room temperature

    - Avoid prolong exposure to the air
