    Description

    10X TBE (Tris-Borate-EDTA Buffer) is used for polyacrylamide and agarose gel electrophoresis.

    TBE was originally used at a working strength of 1X for polyacrylamide gel and 0.5X for agarose gel electrophoresis.
    Premixed electrophoresis buffers eliminate variables which can distort data and give unreliable results.

    10X Composition
    - 890 mM Tris base
    - 890 mM Boric acid
    - 20 mM EDTA
    - pH at 25°C (1X): 8.2-8.4

    Recommended Storage Condition
    - Store at room temperature (22–25°C)

    - Electrophoresis buffer for polyacrylamide and agarose gel electrophoresis.
